Answering our FAQ's!

Where will my dog stay? To ensure safety at night and during down time, dogs are all crated in the kennel room when unattended. We have both wire and plastic crates of varying sizes to accommodate each individual dog's needs. The kennel room (and home) is temp controlled, is vacuumed daily, deep cleaned every few days, and kennels are always fully disinfected as each dog goes home. Photos or videos of kennel room are available upon request

What training methods does Kinderk9 Dog Training use? Great question! KinderK9 uses a variety of methods all depending on the dog! We do not believe in "one size fits all" training. We mostly utilize balanced training methods, with heavy use of positive reinforcement. Additionally, we may employ the use of training tools (prong, E-collar, slip leads, martingale collars) depending on training needs and methods that work best for an individual dog!

What is required to have my dog be trained and/or boarded? We require Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, and Parvo vaccines, as well as clean fecal test are required even for in home training visits. Some diseases can be carried and transmitted easily. Spreading disease is not a risk KinderK9 Dog Training is willing to risk for any reason, as dog safety is always the utmost top priority. Additionally, dog owners must sign a contact and intake form that correlates with the service. Some services may require a deposit.

How does payment work? We take cash or mobile payment(cashapp only.) Payment is due by start time of all services. Day and train packages, board and train programs, and 7 day or more basic boarding requires a 20% deposit out of the total to hold a spot. If it is assessed that a dog may benefit from the use training tools during a board and train program, the owner can either get the tools on their own, or place a larger deposit out of the total for the trainer to provide training equipment

Does KinderK9 Dog Training take payment plans? Yes! payment plans are available for day camp and private training packages. The payment plans require a 20% deposit out of the total, and for each additional payment to be paid at the start of scheduled services.

Will my dog get to play and exercise? Absolutely! We like to incorporate play and exercise into training whenever possible, in order to help make things enjoyable for your pup! If your dog stays with us it is getting one on one play, lots of attention, walks, and possible supervised training and interaction with other dogs.
